Modelling: A Fading Industry?

The status of celebrity has reached massive proportions in the last ten years, with the likes of Rihanna, Beyonce, David Beckham and other stars creating such fanatic intrigue.

As much as artists such as Britney Spears may complain about their high public profiles, they still cash in anyway they can with books, perfume, clothing lines to name a few examples. The more exposure the better, but now its not just the stars selling themselves - it has become the norm for fashion designers to use famous faces to sell their products.

This of course poses a threat to professional models who have no other means of earning money, as the popularity of selling celebrity through high fashion shows no signs of faltering.

Here are some fine examples of celebrities in their most fashion forward campaigns.
